When we heard that Shirin of Shehnaai Studio had her baby girl, we couldn’t wait to get over there and photograph her. Ayaana is a happy little girl, and big brother Aadit loves giving her kisses! We also took the opportunity to photograph the three of them with Shirin’s mother and sister who flew in to help her through the end of the pregnancy and first month of Ayaana’s life. I think the generational photograph is really sweet.

This is one of those images that I just love, and can never really pinpoint why:
Aadit was such a good boy and behaved so well holding Ayaana, that we wanted to grab a few of him too!
